Sorry guys, I have something serious I need to talk about. How come it always seems that when things are going great, there's always something to bring you down? Well, this let down came to me last Friday night. Friday started out great. My presentation in biology class went over really well, and I had the evening off of work to do whatever I wanted. Well, on this particular Friday night I decided to go to the theatre to see the debut of the Clay Chronicles Episode 2. I have to say, my expectations were met and surpassed again by old Craigery and friends. The episode rocked, but that's not what this is about. The real issue is this. Me and my girlfriend (who shall remain nameless) have been together for almost a year and five months. That's a long time. Granted, we haven't actually seen each other or even spoken on the phone in almost a year, but we never broke up so technically I'm still taken (sorry ladies). Like I said, a year and five months is a long time, and although I dreaded the thought of it, I was starting to feel like she was getting bored of our relationship, and worse yet, of me. Sure enough, my fears were realized Friday night at the theatre when I saw her there with another guy. I thought to myself "Is she cheating on me?", but when the movie was over, she left in such a hurry that I didn't even get a chance to talk to her about it. So it is with a heavy heart that I have come to this decision... I think its time to break up. Its been a hell of a ride, but all good things must come to an end. I just hope she won't take it too hard, and find the strength to carry on as such good friends as we have.
